Meet the team

Nikki Thorpe

NikkiHi, I’m Nikki, owner of Good Hair Days since 2002. Firstly let me tell you a little about myself before I introduce you to my brilliant team. I’ve been hairdressing for over 30 years and am qualified to level 3 in hairdressing and level 2 beauty. I have a Diploma as a Multi Media Make-Up Artist and really enjoy doing hair and make-up for weddings and special occasions.

I specialise in cutting techniques, long and curly hair, and enjoy cutting, colouring and the scientific side of hairdressing. I am a local girl, originally from Glaston although I have spent time in London and Kent, and am well travelled, having performed my job worldwide. I live in a village with my daughter Grace and four cats.

I also own Twist & Turn, the ladies fashion boutique in Uppingham. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with Grace cooking, watching films, cinema and holidays. I have many interests including travel, fine dining and wine, horse racing, theatre and music, I sing in a choir and I enjoy horse riding, walking along the Norfolk coast with my boyfriend Rupert and his dog MJ, the odd run and Zumba.
